▲ 247 My tomatoes are finally turning red after 3 months of patience
Started from seed in March and they are finally ripening. Used a mix of compost and fish emulsion every two weeks. The key was consistent watering — about an inch per week. Here are my top gardening tips for beginners: start small, water consistently, and be patient. Anyone else growing tomatoes this season?

Those look amazing! I had blossom end rot on mine last year. Turns out it was a calcium deficiency. Adding crushed eggshells to the soil fixed it completely.

Great results! I grow mine in containers on a balcony. Cherry tomatoes work best for small spaces — they produce like crazy all summer.

▲ 183 Simple homemade bread recipe that actually works every time
After years of failed attempts, I finally found a no-knead recipe that is foolproof. Mix 3 cups flour, 1/4 tsp yeast, 1 tsp salt, 1.5 cups warm water. Let it rise 12-18 hours, then bake in a Dutch oven at 230°C for 30 minutes covered, 15 minutes uncovered. The crust is incredible.

This is the Jim Lahey method! It changed my life. I make a loaf every weekend now. Try adding rosemary and sea salt on top.
