  • Android 12+ Green Privacy Indicator: Android enforces a persistent green dot in the status bar whenever the camera HAL is streaming. Users may find background camera polling alarming. (Notice the green dot glowing in the simulated status bar!).
  • Camera Hardware Contention: Android restricts camera sensors to single-process exclusivity. If the user launches Instagram, Snapchat, or native Camera, the system dispatches onDisconnected(). GhostScreen must yield gracefully via CameraManager.AvailabilityCallback.
